Leading CCE Since 2014
A TESOL graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and a Fulbright alumna, Mrs. Bamba serves as the Coordinator of the CCE at IUGB. She joined the university as a part-time faculty member in the Preparatory Program in September 2012, took on the interim Coordinator role in May 2013, and was officially appointed in October 2014.
As the head of the CCE unit, she oversees its development, established the Summer Immersion Camp in 2017, and has led corporate training programs in collaboration with leading West African organizations.
The CCE facilitates the removal of obstacles to ensure that education is accessible to all learners, regardless of their life stage; we enable individuals who are unable to conform to a conventional full-time or on-campus student environment to bridge the gaps in their learning that they believe they have experienced.

Leadership, Professional & Management Development
Our clientele are professionals, business leaders, and managers in the private and public sectors as well as young degree holders. Our customized offerings enable professionals to advance in their career paths by acquiring relevant knowledge in management and leadership domains.
Faculty, Staff & Instructor Development & Teacher Training
The target audience is university faculty and staff, and high school teachers nationwide. Our workshops, seminars, short courses, and hands-on in-service trainings provide new and working professionals with avenues for development. We also revisit current teaching approaches and techniques to design pre-service and in-service training courses for high school English teachers.
Workplace Skill-Based Training & Certification
Workers are provided with training in the main Computer Science domains of the workplace using applications in collaboration with the IUGB Microsoft Academy. IUGB is an approved Microsoft Certification Training Center, and the CCE offers Microsoft Key courses that equip professionals with industry-recognized digital credentials.
Language Acquisition
Our clients are given the opportunity to enhance their linguistic performance in English and French, regardless of their age and level of study. From English for Academic Purposes to Conversational and Business French, our programs equip learners with the linguistic skills they need in academic and professional settings.
Test Center & Test Preparation
IUGB is an official Educational Testing Service (ETS) test center. The CCE offers improved and more efficient preparation programs emphasizing the test-taking techniques and strategies that test-takers need to guarantee a high score on internationally recognized standardized tests.
Consulting & Advisory Services
The CCE provides expert consulting and advisory services to organizations, government agencies, and private-sector partners across West Africa. Drawing on IUGB’s academic excellence, we design tailored learning solutions, conduct needs assessments, and deliver strategic guidance to develop institutional human capital.
